Start of Tour (8:15AM)
Meet at the Discova Day Tour Shop Chiang Mai at 8:15AM, the tour departs at 8:30AM.Cycling
After a quick bike fitting and briefing, you'll pedal out of town on lightly used roads.Doi Kham
Ride through a Royal Agricultural project that aims to improve crop yields for northern farmers. You'll soon find a hill to contend with, but the e-bikes will make this a breeze. Enjoy a little downhill coming into the valley.Cycle across the Countryside
Ride through a lush valley with small villages, then into farmland that is varied in topography and in produce. Fruit trees are the mainstay, but there are also rice and vegetables grown here. There are some artists' retreats tucked away here and there, and people out here are very friendly.Ob Khan National Park
You won't be entering the park, but instead skirting around it where you ride under the shade of broad teak leaves. Pass some remote villages where chickens will be wandering around and the locals will cheer you on in your efforts. A stop at a small, roadside café is a nice place to enjoy a cold juice or coconut and some local snacks.Rajapruek Royal Gardens
As you ride back towards town, you'll encounter a large, manicured garden known as Rajapruek Royal Gardens. These are stunning botanical gardens featuring an impressive Royal Pavilion. You can take a break here and enjoy a cool drink.End of Tour (3:30PM)
Transfer back to Chiang Mai by van.
