Day 1- After breakfast drive to Fresh Lake Baringo to the West. Have a stop at View point of Great Rift valley and Line of Equator. Arrive for check in and lunch at Soi Safari Lodge. Afternoon have a boat ride as you look for Northern Masked Weaver, Long tailed Cormorant and Nile Crocodiles. Return to Lodge. Day 2- Have breakfast and have a full day walk around the Lake as you find, Jackson Hornbill, Bristle Crowned Starling. Baringo has over 470 species. Full accommodation at Soi Lodge. Day 3- Have an early bird walk in search of African Fish Eagle fishing. Return for breakfast and drive to Kakamega Forest National Reserve. Dinner and Overnight at Rondo Retreat Centre. Day 4&5- Have two full days Birdwalk in the only kenyan Rain Forest. kakamega Forest has over 367 species. Find the rare birds such as, Great Blue Turaco, Black and White Casqued Hornbill, Blue Headed Bee Eater. Also look for Bush Pig, Duikers, Giant African Water Shrew, Redtail Monkey, De Brazzas Monkey. over 380 plant species have been recorded. Fullboard at Rondo Retreat Centre. Day 6- Have an early Birdwalk in search of Banded Prinia, beetles. Return for breakfast and drive back to Nairobi with Lunch on the way.
