This afternoon in the Yarra Valley is built around what people remember: a glass of sparkling wine at Chandon, and a kangaroo experience at sunset we're confident enough to guarantee.
Chandon caps how many people it takes per tour, so most big-bus operators can't get a booking there at all. We can, with groups kept to no more than 12. You'll be guided throughout by a local guide-driver who knows the valley well.
Departing Federation Square at 11.30am, you'll enjoy fresh strawberries, a cheese tasting at Coldstream Dairy, a complimentary glass of Chandon sparkling wine, a wine tasting at Yering Station, and a private chocolate tasting, before heading into quiet bushland for the sunset kangaroo experience. We guarantee you'll see wild kangaroos, or your money back.
Children aged 2 and up are welcome, with hot chocolate or coffee and time with the farm's sheep for younger guests. Back in Melbourne by early evening.

Fantastic experience with strawberries, cheese, Chandon, wine & chocolate tastings included. Elliott was an amazing guide and the highlight of the day were the kangaroos at twilight!
The tour is a must for anyone visiting Melbourne for the first time. We had a great experience at wine, cheese and chocolate tastings. We took extra wine tasting set (set of 3 at $25) at Chandon but it can be avoided as the tour has wine tastings later at Yerring. Craig was our guide and he explained things in a beautiful way. The van was comfortable. The tour is best enjoyed on a cooler day, when we went it was 35c and it became really hot. We also saw some kangaroos later at the Golf Club.
