In the morning, your local French-speaking Egyptologist guide will pick you up at your hotel reception. He will accompany you in a private motor boat to La Rive Ouest where there are the 2 sites.
You will start with the Tombs of the Nobles, where you will visit 3 Tombs, then you will take your camels reserved in advance for you to continue to the Monastery of San Simon. It dates from the 5th century and abandoned in the 12th century. Finally you will return to your hotel by your boat. The Ticket today includes the entrance to the 3 tombs: Mekho and Sabini, Siranbout 1, Siranbout 2. There are quite a few scenes which represent daily life, and religious life, in addition to the color of the rock which is a bit rose inside is really remarkable. The tombs that we can visit are located in height, There is a large staircase that leads us to the top or we can hire a dromedary. Very close to the site There is a small village inhabited by Nubians. The site is also located on the West Bank of the Nile, and the best way to visit the Site is by boat.
