After completing our Singapore Zoo visit from 9am–3pm, we walked straight to River Wonders (about 10 minutes away). By then, our legs were already quite tired because both parks involve a lot of walking, so we planned for a shorter and more relaxed visit here. Our main purpose was to ride the Amazon River Quest boat and see the pandas — and that’s exactly what we did. We spent about 2 hours in River Wonders and managed to ride the Amazon River Quest 3 times! The boat ride takes around 10 minutes each and the minimum height requirement is 1.06m. We were quite lucky because there was almost no queue, so the kids could enjoy multiple rides. The boat ride was fun and relaxing, passing through different animal habitats along the river. Of course, the highlight was the Giant Pandas — Kai Kai and Jia Jia 🐼 Both looked very healthy and were busy eating when we visited. The pandas were adorable and definitely worth the visit. The indoor panda area was also nice and cooling after a long day outdoors. After that, we had a late lunch at River Wonders before heading back to our hotel to rest after a long but fulfilling day.
