Highlights

Woljeong-ri, a beach with blue sky and sea color.
There are various marine sports and cafe streets, so you can spend a leisurely time.
and A forest of trees in 1000 years. If you take a walk in the forest of Bijarim, you become one with nature through the smell of nature and the sound of birds.
If you want to take a break from your Jeju trip, I highly recommend it.

Itinerary

  • Woljeongri Beach

1 hours 40 minsAdmission Ticket Free
월정리 해변(Woljeong-ri Beach) Well known for its beautiful scenery, white sand and emerald water, Jeju Woljeong-ri Beach has a road filled with tea houses and coffee shops.  This is a great stopover during your trip to Jeju Island, and one of few places to enjoy an exotic view.
  • Bijarim Forest

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Not Included
비자림 (Bijarim Forest) In contrast to Yongnunioreum’s open vistas, Bijarim Forest is an ideal spot for a relaxing forest retreat. The dense forest is home to hundreds of bija (nutmeg yew) trees, and is the largest forest in the world to be made up of one plant species. Most of the trees in the forest have lived for 500 to 700 years, earning the forest the nickname “Forest of a Thousand Years.” Must-see sights while at Bijarim Forest are none other than the 800-year old tree and the conjoined nutmeg yews.
  • Yongduam Rock

1 hours 20 minsAdmission Ticket Free
용두암(Yongduam Rock) Yongduam Rock, a top tourist attraction in downtown Jeju, is one of the many natural wonders of Jeju Island. Formed by underwater lava millions of years ago, eons of weathering from the rain and wind have formed it into the likeness of a dragon's head.
  • Dongmun Market

    50 minsAdmission Ticket Free
You can find the largest seafood market in Jeju-si, a place that includes Sanjicheon Fountain. Dongmun Market Place consists of Dongmun street market, Dongmun traditional market, and Dongmun seafood market. You can buy all different kinds of seasonal fish and pickled fish here, among other things.
  • Hamdeok Beach

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
If you walk along Jeju Olle Course 19, you will come across Hamdeok Beach, which has an emerald jewel. Hamdeok Beach, located in Hamdeok-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, is also called ‘Hamdeok Seoubong Beach’ because of Oreum (Seoubong Peak) standing right next to the beach. It is only 20km away from Jeju Airport, but the moment you arrive here, you feel like you are in another country. The tall palm trees that welcome you from the entrance, the emerald sea that contrasts with the white sand, the clear water and white waves that make even the sand and seaweed transparent are like that. Among the numerous beaches in Jeju Island, if you choose three places with the most beautiful sea color, it is definitely Hyeopjae Beach, Gimnyeong Beach, and Hamdeok Beach. The water is clear and the water depth is shallow, so it is also a good summer resort for families. The west side of the beach is connected by an overpass, so you can experience walking on the sea.
