this tour was awesome! shout out to my guide basel. basel was great and shared a lot about the history and anecdotes about british columbia and i learnt alot and he was very engaging. do note that the travel time is quite long because of the ferry rides and coach journey, but honestly very worth it. the ferry ride itself is quite scenic, so it doesn’t feel too sian. victoria is actually quite small and very walkable. i managed to see most of the main sights within about 3/4 hours without rushing, so the free time was enough to explore, grab some food, and just enjoy the city. butchart gardens was the highlight for me. it’s so beautiful that you can literally get lost walking around all the different gardens. every corner looks different and there’s so much to see. if you like flowers, nature, or just taking nice photos, confirm will enjoy. overall, this day trip is worth it and i would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting vancouver. long day, but no regrets at all.
