What a great experience! We got to try the full process — selecting our glass, cutting and polishing the shapes, and soldering everything together using the copper foil (Tiffany) method to make our own suncatchers. Felicia was a wonderful teacher, 40 years of experience and evidently passionate about the craft. She wove in the history behind the technique, pointing out where you can spot it in other works and even churches, and shared stories about some of the beautiful pieces in her own portfolio and workshop. It’s clear she genuinely cares about keeping this art alive — she’s actively teaching and building a community to pass the craft on. She was also an incredibly patient teacher, walking us through each step thoroughly and giving us plenty of guidance along the way. We left with suncatchers we’re genuinely proud of. Highly recommend for anyone curious about stained glass, whether you’re a total beginner or just looking for a fun, hands-on afternoon!

We had a great time during the stained glass workshop. I especially liked the cutting and soldering. While I am not a very crafty nor handy person, with help of Felicia I still managed to make a nice looking bird. She was patient and took her time to teach us the various techniques. I had no idea there was so much to it. I think this workshop will make me appreciate stained glass in historical buildings more now I know more about the art of it. Thanks Felicia!

This was such a great experience. Felicia was very patient and kind, and encouraged us to design a piece that resonated with us. Although it was challenging at the start, having to pick up new tools and materials, it turned into a very therapeutic and forgiving activity. We left with a lovely keepsake and a warm experience. Even though we exceeded the time for the workshop, she didn't rush us but rather encouraged us to enjoy the craft instead. We definitely gained a new appreciation for Stained Glass Mosaic! It was a wonderful, light-filled and lovely afternoon. Thank you for the experience Felicia!

It was a nice relaxing workshop! Felicia engagingly shared about the history, culture of stained glass art with local context and gave a brief teaching on the style and technique and created a calm and creative environment for us to create our own mosaic art piece!
