Highlights

Visit two of Sapporo’s most popular attractions, Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium and Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, and meet the famous Dr. Clark statue on the hill.

This course is operated with a bus equipped with a multilingual audio guidance system available in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean, allowing you to explore Sapporo’s highlights in a short time.

With sightseeing from the bus window and stops for visits at Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium and Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, this well-rounded course lets you efficiently experience Sapporo’s top attractions.

From the elevated view inside the bus, you can enjoy city sightseeing including Odori Park, an urban park running east to west through central Sapporo, the Hokkaido Governor’s Official Residence nestled among trees, the Toyohira River flowing through the city and serving as a venue for summer fireworks festivals, and the Sapporo Dome with its beautiful silver curved structure.

Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium is an active ski jumping venue located on the eastern slope of Mt. Okura at an elevation of 307 meters. From the observation deck at the summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Sapporo city and the Ishikari Plain beyond the jump slope. The 145.0-meter Bakken record, the longest jump distance, as seen from the starting point of the ski jump, is truly impressive. Be sure to experience it for yourself.

Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill is home to the famous statue of Dr. Clark, raising his right hand toward the horizon. In summer, sheep graze on the green fields, with the cityscape of Sapporo stretching out in the background, offering a quintessential Hokkaido landscape. Stand beside the statue, strike the same pose, and take a memorable photo while embracing the spirit of “Boys, be ambitious.”

The regular sightseeing bus will take you to these must-visit landmarks in Sapporo.
