Highlights
In the morning, we will start with the navigation along the Beagle Canal, visiting Isla de Lobos and Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse. Departures at 08 : 00 hs or 10 : 00 hs (depending on availability), duration approximately 2 h 30 min. Upon return to the port, there will be free time for lunch at your own expense in the port area.
In the afternoon, we meet again at 14:00 hs at the port for the bus departure to Estancia Harberton. There you will be able to appreciate the first nature reserve in Tierra del Fuego, the old shearing shed, the carpentry, the oldest boat house built in Tierra del Fuego and the beautiful garden of the main house. The entrance also includes a guided tour of the unique Acatushun Museum of Birds and Marine Mammals that houses underwater representations in full size and part of the extensive collection of skeletons collected by Dr. Natalie Goodall and her interns on the Fuegian coast. The place has a restaurant overlooking the town, the mountains and the Beagle Canal that serves typical dishes of the stay.
