This is the tour that takes us to explore the world of Malbec. Mendoza iconic variety and famous in the entire worldWe will depart Mendoza city to get to Lujan de Cuyo region, the Malbec land. The first stop is at Huarpe. A modern winery when you can have a complete experience of content, sensory and fun. We will start making contact with the vineyard, we refer to the use of water, to the Huarpe legacy, we will know about the biological process of the vine and the concept of "terroir". We will have the opportunity to see soil samples from each of wine regions. Finally, at the tasting room, we begin the sensory experience, the "Aromas game", where we will identify the different descriptors of Malbec. We will taste a wine selection in which Malbec is the star. The second stop is at Matervini Wines, located in Perdriel area. Surrounded by vineyards and mountains, the innovative winery has colorful walls with murals of different viticulture moments. Matervini is the first winery in Argentina to generate 100% of its energy requirements by solar panels.Through out the vine rows, emerges one of Malbec‘s expressions that Matervini wants to show: their Finca Wine. We will taste the most exclusive Matervini wines. It takes place in the guest room, where the high terraces allow visitors to sip a glass of wine at the same time as they enjoy the picture-like scenery of Mendoza. Finally, we can enjoy an special lunch pairing with Malbec at Casarena, an old winery building. In this winery we can experience the Malbec from different terroirs, climate and soils.
