We purchased an online ticket for Siena Cathedral. Took over 20 minutes for the pending transcation to be completed and for us to receive a QR code. Once we finally had the QR code, we still had to stand in line to get a paper ticket. With the paper ticket, we had to walk completely around to enter the cathedral. All so inefficient. Why bother with an online purchase. It didn't save any time.
