This traditional Chinese ink painting workshop for beginners will teach you all the skills and techniques you need to start experimenting with Chinese paintbrushes and rice paper. You'll be introduced to one of the most iconic themes in Chinese painting – bamboo. As you paint, uncover the history and philosophies behind Chinese painting and learn about what sets Chinese art apart from Western art. Under the guidance of an expert artist, you'll create your very own bamboo-themed ink painting on rice paper that you can take home as a valuable keepsake.

Teacher Carolyn is the best in teaching basic fundamentals in Chinese ink painting, and appreciation of Chinese arts. She patiently teaches the basic strokes and techniques for bamboo painting.
