Overall the tour was really enjoyable and unique. It consisted of the pinic grove lookout point which gave a birds eye view of the volcano and the lake and the temperature at that height was really nice and cooling. The 2hr boat ride around the volcano was also really interesting and we decided to hire a local guide on the spot (the guide was from the volcano island itself). The guide was really informative and i enjoyed the personal stories she shared as well. Our driver/guide for the trip was Carlo and his partner Christine. They were extremely friendly and were always enthusiastic to share with us anything we wanted to know about the philippines! The last stop was at the Manila American Cemetry and Memorial where Carlo let us explore the museum and memorial at our own pace. The tour starts at 5.30am which may seem early but it was a good decision as we escaped the manila traffic and the weather wasnt too hot. Overall the price may be a little expensive compared to local manila tours but it was a really unique and interesting experience!
