Highlights

Peruvian Government Authorized
Approximately 130 Precious Cultural Artifacts, Including Items Shown for the First Time in Japan, Arrive in Tokyo
“CREVIA Machu Picchu Exhibition”

Thirteen years after the 2012 Inca Empire Exhibition, the mysteries of the ancient Andes return to Japan.

This special traveling exhibition, officially authorized by the Government of Peru, brings together approximately 130 valuable cultural artifacts on loan from the world renowned Museo Larco in Lima. Through rare items such as golden ornaments excavated from royal tombs and ritual objects used in temple ceremonies, including pieces being shown outside Peru for the first time, the wisdom and beauty of the ancient Andean civilizations that reached great splendor vividly come to life.

At the venue, visitors will be immersed in an experiential space that recreates the Sky City Machu Picchu using the latest technology, along with the epic story of Ai Apaec, the heroic figure of Andean mythology, inviting guests into an unprecedented intellectual adventure.

This exhibition is the second major historical showcase presented by NEON, following the widely acclaimed Ramses the Great Exhibition, which captivated five hundred forty thousand people across four cities worldwide.

A large scale immersive cultural exhibition that allows visitors to experience Machu Picchu and the ancient Andean civilizations, still shrouded in many mysteries, through overwhelming scale and dynamic presentation is now opening.
