Visit Forest Lagoon, a geothermal spa located in the Vaðlaskógur forest, overlooking Eyjafjörður, one of Iceland’s longest fjords. The spa offers a calm setting surrounded by birch and pine trees, designed for relaxation and comfort.
The lagoon has two geothermal pools. The larger pool (530 m2) is kept at 37 °C (98.6 °F) and includes three swim-up bars and an indoor entrance. The smaller pool (330 m2) is also maintained at 37 °C and provides a quieter area to relax.
You can use the Finnish-style dry sauna, which reaches temperatures of around 80 °C with low humidity and offers views of Eyjafjörður and the surrounding mountains. A cold pool at 11 °C (51.8 °F) is located nearby for contrast bathing.
The visit can be completed at the Forest Bistro, an onsite dining area with views of the fjord and indoor seating.
