Newcastle Upon Tyne is originally, a Roman city which later featured heavily in wars with Scotland. Its many fine buildings largely a legacy of the Industrial Revolution and its famed coal and shipbuilding industries.
Known around its world for its beer and bridges amongst other things, Newcastle is a city like no other and we will get to see both the most amazing urban train view in Britain as well as a street voted Britains most beautiful (not Edinburgh or Bath)!
See the famous quayside and markets, get a taste of the friendliest city in Britain and voted the second most partying city in the world after Rio (take that London, Las Vegas and Monaco).
We will surely find a great place to eat or drink in this city with a well renowned reputation for for its pubs before we return back to London.
If time allows we can customise this tour and visit The Angel of the North.
Please note the typical train journey time each way is around 3 hours.
