Highlights

Singapore Flyer – One Ride, the Whole City

One of the world's largest observation wheels, the Singapore Flyer has been a staple of the Lion City's skyline since 2008. It stands 165 meters tall – that's roughly a 42-storey building – and one full rotation takes 30 minutes.

The panoramic views of Marina Bay span across the city skyline, including the stunning Marina Bay Sands, the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, Gardens by the Bay, the ever-famous Merlion Park, Raffles Place, and the Singapore River below. And on clear days, you can even see all the way out to Malaysia and Indonesia. Seriously, the stunning views and city lights can go beyond what most people expect!

The Time Capsule – Walking Through Singapore's History

Now, before you board, there's the Time Capsule. It is a gallery that walks you through Singapore's history, from its origins to where it is today. A time-travel robot called R65 personally guides you, making the whole thing way more engaging than your average museum walkthrough. This also means that by the time you step onto the Ferris wheel, you already got a fully immersive history experience. Most people spend around 20 to 30 minutes here, so you don't have to worry about getting late to the ride.

There's More to Do Beyond the Ride

A standard Singapore Flyer ticket offers access to the Time Capsule and one rotation on the observation wheel, right? But if you want to go all out, the Singapore Flyer also offers packages that make the ride a bit more special.

The sky dining experience is a four-course dinner inside a private capsule you can enjoy as the wheel turns for the full 30 minutes. There's also a Singapore Sling experience and a premium champagne experience available for booking at the ticketing counter. This VIP experience includes light refreshments, gourmet chocolates, and even priority boarding. And yes, themed capsules are good for group bookings too. Oh, and the Singapore Flyer is fully wheelchair accessible throughout.

If you have more time to spare for other activities, you might want to check out the Gardens by the Bay, which is just a short walk from the terminal. The Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, and that convenient Singapore hop-on hop-off bus stop are also right next to it. So, buying tickets to the Singapore Flyer makes it easy for you to turn this trip into a fun and exciting Marina Bay adventure.

The Singapore Flyer in a Nutshell

  • Your Singapore Flyer ticket gets you into the Time Capsule gallery and one full rotation on the observation wheel – two experiences under one admission.
  • At 165 metres, you've got breathtaking skyline views of Marina Bay, the Singapore skyline, Changi Airport, and Sentosa Island, and on clear days, all the way to Malaysia and Indonesia.
  • The Time Capsule is guided by R65, a time-travel robot, and it covers the whole story of the Lion City from a small island to the city it is today, making it a whole immersive experience.
  • The Singapore Flyer is fully wheelchair accessible, so it's easy for guests of all mobility needs.
  • You can explore the upgrade to a Singapore Sling experience, a premium champagne experience, or the sky dining experience – a four-course dinner in a private capsule as the wheel turns.
  • Gardens by the Bay (Cloud Forest, Flower Dome), the ArtScience Museum, and the hop-on hop-off bus are all a short walk away – easy to turn this into a Singapore Flyer combo around Marina Bay.
A full rainbow stretches over the Singapore Flyer, with Malaysia visible in the distance. On clear days, the views really do go that far.
If you want to see the full Singapore skyline from inside the capsule at night, with city lights in every direction, now’s the perfect time to book that evening ride.

Great! I was treated like VIP! And I didn't expect that I had the whole capsule to myself. I also didn't expect that I would love the design of the capsule. The view was fantastic too! Highly recommended
