Itinerary
Your Private English-speaking driver will collect you early in the morning for the 90-minute drive out to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best known and most popular stretches of China’s Great Wall.
On arrival, your driver will hand you tickets and give you a thorough orientation of the area, including where to take the cable car and ideas for hiking directions. Then you’ll be free to explore independently, and perhaps eat at one of Mutianyu’s many restaurants, for up to four hours.
If you’d like, you can choose to spend just two hours at the Great Wall. That leaves time for a stop at Olympic Park to capture photos of the Bird’s Nest (Niaochao Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Centre) ( optional )
Depending on the route, the drive back to your hotel will take around two hours.
