Embark of the 3 days safari To Tsavo National Park is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls. While Tsavo West is more mountainous and wetter with swamps, Lake Jipe, and the Mzima Springs.
Itinerary
Tsavo National Park
Day 01: Mombasa - Tsavo East Depart Mombasa and drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi road to Tsavo East National Park via Bachuma Gate. Embark on your first game drive, spotting elephants, the man-eaters of Tsavo, buffalo, cheetahs, giraffes, and antelopes. Visit the Aruba Dam, famous for wildlife sightings, especially in the dry season. Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge or similar. Day 02: Tsavo East - Tsavo West Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Depart for Tsavo West and check in at your safari lodge. After lunch, visit the Rhino Sanctuary and the leopard trap, where you may be lucky to spot one. Dinner and overnight at Taita Hills Game Lodge or similar. Day 03: Tsavo West - Mombasa On your last day, enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive at sunrise, with predators hunting and grazers feeding. Visit Mzima Springs, with more wildlife viewing en route. Return to Mombasa.
