Most of the tour is spending 4 hours on the road and 1.5 hours in a mall having lunch. Yes eventually you go to the important places. Not memorable, a bit rushed, and nothing is included. So pretty much you pay for a bus to take you from one place to another.
Awesome tour and knowledgeable guides providing context and historical insights all the way. No hardsell BS nor forced tips collection. Lunch was self guided at a big local mall. Helps to be bilingual as most background info was conveyed in English. There were differences between the English and Mandarin commentary. The palace part is mostly fluff (an Asian Versailles if you can imagine that) but the temple tours were good, albeit with just 45-60 min each. Back to BKK at 20:10, but expected, considering the traffic.
The checkin for the tour was smooth, and there was a team of staff ready to assist and check everyone in. The tour was great, timing at each spot was just nice and there were no pressure for any sort of sales or unscheduled stops. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the bus was cold enough to combat Thailand's weather relentless heat. We arrived back in Bangkok at 6pm despite the traffic on the way back.
