The stops were absolutely amazing. City tour stops at Notre Dame Cathedral, Post office (which is just opposite of each other), Independence Palace, and War Remnant Museum. Cu Chi Tunnels were a great stop to understand how the Viet Cong army fought during the Vietnam War. However the service was absolutely horrid. Tour guide, named Slim, while knowledgeable about the history was irresponsible. He did not gather all of us together when we were entering the Independence Palace, which ended up with half the group being left outside, and when we tried to enter, the security held up my husband because he didn't have enough tickets. When confronted, the guide didn't apologize at the beginning and kept blaming the security, the heat, the crowd etc until we had to raise our voice to get our point across. In addition, since my husband could speak Chinese, he started making sexist remarks about me in Chinese, saying things like, "oh you know women, they get angry for longer". No, he failed to manage a small group of 7 people to gather and move together as a group. This should have been the basic things to do as a tour guide. In addition, when we escalated the issue to the management, management did not bother to intervene, asking us to, "not be angry because it is bad for our health". I have screenshots to prove this interaction and basically management did not care about the experience of the people in the tour. The company name is TNK group, I highly discourage everyone that is keen to go for this type of tour to take your money elsewhere. Absolutely horrendous.
