We offer two tailored packages for your trip—private transfer only or transfer with a knowledgeable guide—with two flexible duration options to choose from: a 4-hour tour focused solely on the Summer Palace, or a 6–8 hour tour covering the Summer Palace plus other attractions within Beijing’s 5th Ring Road (the Great Wall is not included). Please note that if you wish to add the Forbidden City to your full-day itinerary, reservations must be made at least one day in advance; other attractions can be discussed and finalized with your guide upon booking.

As the Summer Palace is a top Beijing landmark with tickets often selling out fast during peak seasons, we will take care of your ticket purchase—no need to worry about long queues or sold-out spots!

Your driver (or driver and guide) will meet you at your downtown Beijing hotel lobby at your preferred time and drive you directly to the Summer Palace.
If you choose the transfer-only service, your driver will drop you off at the parking lot and hand you the QR code ticket for entry, then wait for your return. Keep in mind that our package includes standard entrance tickets only—museums inside the Summer Palace require separate fees. You can then enjoy a self-guided exploration: take a paddle boat on Kunming Lake in summer, climb Longevity Mountain to visit the tranquil Buddhist temples, wander through the elegant palaces and gardens, and admire the exquisite paintings along the iconic Long Corridor at your own pace. Once your tour is complete, meet your driver at the parking lot for a comfortable ride back to your hotel.

If you opt for the transfer + guide package, your guide will accompany you into the Summer Palace and craft a seamless route to ensure you don’t miss any key attractions. Beyond showing you around, your guide will share fascinating stories behind the royal gardens and uncover the important historical events that took place here, bringing the site’s rich past to life. The guide will also help take photos for you and even assist with watching your kids if needed. After your exploration, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.

If you select the 6–8 hour package, you can discuss the additional attractions within Beijing’s 5th Ring Road with your driver or guide as per your preferences.
