・Chiang Mai Cultural Center This is a place where you can learn about the
history and culture of Chiang Mai. Outside, there are statues of the Three
Kings, and you can see locals praying.


・Wat Chedi Luang

This temple is home to the largest pagoda in Chiang Mai and is said to have
been built in 1391 by King Saen Muangma (1383-1402), the seventh king of the
Mengrai dynasty, in memory of his late father.


Wat Phra Singh This is the largest temple in Chiang Mai. It was built by King
Pha-yu (1336-1355), the fifth king of the Lanna dynasty, and was originally
called Wat Lee Chen Phra. Later, after King Saen Muangma, the seventh king,
brought the Phra Singh Buddha statue from Chiang Rai, it became known as Wat
Phra Singh among the local residents.


・Wat Suan Duk

This temple was built in 1383, and the bronze Buddha statue enshrined in the
main hall is said to be one of the largest in Japan even today, 500 years
later.The temple is also famous for the white pagodas scattered around the
temple grounds that house the ashes of successive kings.
