Travel and Birding want to invite you to have a wild adventure and a unique experiences of nature in the Corcovado National Park. It is one of the most biodiverse places to visit in Costa Rica and is home to 2.5% of all species worldwide. Just think about encountering a tapir or -if we are lucky - a puma while you discover the secret of nature with a naturalist tour guide.
An overnight stay in Sirena Station is an unforgettable experience as this is the only ranger station where we have the opportunity to spend the night in the National Park.
Itinerary
Puerto Jiménez - Sirena Ranger Station
Sirena Ranger Station
18 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedWe start the day with a boat ride of approximately one hour and 15 minutes from Puerto Jiménez to Sirena. We might be able to see some marine wildlife, such as dolphins. After we disembark at the beach in Corcovado National Park we can immediately enjoy the beautiful scenery. We walk an easy trail of about 2 km to Sirena Station. On our way we will be able to observe lots of wildlife, such as the tapir, monkeys, coatis, hummingbirds or toucans. At Sirena Station we have our lunch break and settle in to our sleeping quarters. In the afternoon we explore the area around the station on different trails to discover more of the National Park.
