Easy exchange at Nagoya Station, although I was made to join a separate queue to make seat reservations, which took quite long and which I later found out, could be made via the shinkansen ticket machines.

  • A valid passport with Temporary Visitor visa stamp (automated gates will not apply the stamp).
  • Exchange Order voucher (delivered by mail or picked up prior to arrival in Japan).
  • Valid photo ID for any on-site verifications.

  • The pass includes unlimited travel on eligible JR trains and buses within the area for 5 consecutive days.
  • It includes 4 reserved seats on limited express trains such as Wide View Nanki, Kuroshio, and Mie Express.
