①Makiyama Observatory
An observation deck located on high ground that offers a panoramic view of the
Irabu Bridge as well as Miyako Island and Kurima Island.

Located north of the runway at Shimoji Airport, this is one of the most scenic
spots in the Miyako Islands.
③Sunayama Beach
The beach has pure white, powdery sand. We recommend bringing beach sandals.
④Nishi Hennazaki
A cape at the northernmost tip of Miyako Island. You can see the magnificent
coastal scenery and Ikema Bridge.
⑤Shimajiri Mangrove Park
This is the largest mangrove colony in the Miyako Islands, and you can see it
up close from the promenade.
