Your hands-on cooking class will last about two and a half hours. Meet your host Erica, a fun and lively host at her Victorian red brick house in a leafy suburb on the south of the city, a 10-minute walk from some of Dublin’s top landmarks such as St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Guinness storehouse and the Teeling's Whiskey Distillery. Erica is one of Ireland's great TV chefs, is the main stage host of Taste of Dublin and travels the country hosting cookery demos at festivals. Join your host at her high-ceilinged kitchen to learn to cook a traditional Irish meal from recipes that she learned from her mother. Your hands-on cooking class will last about two and a half hours. You will learn to cook three dishes three dishes from scratch. Dishes you might learn to make are Guinness brown bread, a main like a stew or fish, and a dessert. Enjoy learning about the techniques involved in cooking Irish food from a professional chef before you sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare with host Erica. Please note the menu is seasonal, so if you have any special requests please let Erica know in advance. Or else she will select a menu based on seasonal ingredients available at the market.
