Bus/Coach Ride

Great Buddha

Retro Enoden Train
Ride the cute little Enoden train that has been in operation for more than 100 years, passing by Kamakura's famous sights along the Shonan coast and a mosaic of colorful districts that boast their own seaside flavor.
Shonan Coast
Next, pass through the railway crossing and road, down the stairs to the famous Shonan coast in Kanto. Take a stroll on the beach, listen to the sound of the waves, and relax under the sun. If the weather is good, you can even see Mount Fuji directly.
Enoshima Shrine
Continue to the Enoshima Shrine built in 552 upon the order of Emperor Kinmei. Admire the wooden colorful 8-armed seated Benzaiten statue, the Hizen country Fujiwara Masahirosakutachi, the Happo tortoise, the Enoshima origin, and the bronze torii – all nationally designated cultural properties.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Carter Sasaki as our tour guide, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment he shared the detailed itinerary with us, we knew we were in great hands. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, making the day both seamless and memorable.
We began with a visit to the awe-inspiring Great Buddha, where Carter shared insightful stories about its history and significance. Then, we hopped onto the charming Retro Enoden Train, a nostalgic ride that let us take in the beauty of Kamakura’s coast and vibrant districts.
The stroll along the Shonan Coast was a highlight — Carter gave us time to enjoy the sea breeze and, with perfect weather, we even caught a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. At the historic Enoshima Shrine, Carter’s knowledge truly shone as he guided us through its rich cultural treasures.
We then explored the impressive Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, where Carter explained the deep samurai heritage and spiritual traditions, making the experience incredibly meaningful. Finally, he led us to Komachi Street, a lively and colorful area perfect for shopping and sampling local treats.
Throughout the tour, Carter was not only knowledgeable but also warm, organized, and attentive to everyone’s needs. His passion for sharing Japan’s beauty and history made the entire journey unforgettable. If you’re looking for a tour guide who truly enhances every part of your experience, we highly recommend Carter Sasaki!

Today's trip was really great. The sun was unexpectedly very good on the day we went. The one-day trip was very enjoyable. In addition, the tour guide's explanation was also very good. He not only answered many of our questions thoughtfully, but also introduced us to many things in Japan. Culture allows us to understand Japan more deeply. The time for this trip is limited, otherwise I would like to sign up for another one-day trip. This one-day trip is more convenient and more enjoyable than traveling by personal transportation.

A fantastic travel experience! This was my first time in Japan. The night before the trip, I received an email from the travel company with information about the meeting point, guide's phone number, and other details, which made me feel very reassured. The meeting point had yellow flags. It took me some time to find my guide. Other than that, everything was perfect. The guide took us to experience Japan's small trains, visit temples, and I loved the clean and tidy streets of Japan. Enoshima was also very beautiful. Our guide was very thoughtful and, at the end of the trip, provided guidance on how to get back to the hotel.
