Experience Old Delhi – A Journey Through Time
Step back into the Mughal era amidst the vibrant streets of Old Delhi. Your tour begins with a hotel pick-up and a visit to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built in 1648 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
Enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, one of the busiest and most colorful bazaars in India—a truly unique experience of weaving through narrow lanes and lively markets.
Continue visit with the Red Fort, an iconic Mughal monument, where you can stop to take memorable photos from outside. Next, visit Purana Qila (Old Fort), once a Mughal stronghold. This massive fort, nearly two kilometers in circumference, showcases some of the finest Mughal architecture and offers a quieter, more reflective atmosphere today.
The tour then moves to Raj Ghat, the serene memorial where Mahatma Gandhi, the leader of truth and non-violence, was cremated.
End the day with some shopping before being transferred back to your hotel.
