For the ones interested in working up a nice sweat you can learn some African dance choreography that will be laid out for you step by step and then put together with drumming beats, allowing you to be engulfed in the full West African tribal experience.
Itinerary
Community Youth Cultural Center
This is a 2-hour activity that will be catered to the desires of the traveler. You can include both 1 hour of instruction in African drumming techniques and 1 hour West African dancing choreography, such as the Kpalogo from greater Accra. Or you may decide you just want to learn 2 hours of dance choreography or focus on improving your drumming skills for the duration of the experience. If no message request is given, the normal 1Hr of drum, and 1Hr of dance will be included in your session!
