Itinerary
Cool Blue Hole
First you’ll be picked up in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle at an assigned location, hotel lobby, villa, Airbnb, or cruise ship pier in the Ocho Rios area. Your excursion will take you through the town of Ocho Rios then elevate in the hills of the White River Valley. You’ll learn about the Jamaican culture as you travel through small towns displaying houses of various sizes and designs, churches, grocery stores, bars, street vendors as well as people living in the communities. As we approach our destination, you’ll see the country's oldest hydroelectric plant that was built in the 1930s. Upon arrival at the Blue Hole, you’ll meet your river guide who will take you on a hike through the rainforest where you could swim in various natural pools formed by the river. There are small water caves to explore, mud bath, and a rope swings to enjoy. For the brave at heart, you could dare to jump from the waterfall into 40 feet deep waters. After a water full experience and lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll end the day by heading back to Ocho Rios for an optional souvenir shopping spree at a local store or craft market. Return to your hotel/villa or cruise ship for drop-off.
