For its 13th edition, Southeast Asia's largest sake festival moves to Marina Bay Sands. It is our largest edition yet, with a bigger space, hundreds of rare and exceptional sakes and longer sessions so you can take your time. On 28 and 29 November 2026, over 100 breweries and distilleries will pour more than 500 sakes, shochu and artisanal Japanese spirits. Compare regional styles side by side, and join masterclasses led by sake and shochu educators. Every ticket comes with a complimentary Sake Matsuri tasting glass and free-flow sampling across all festival zones, including the dedicated Spirits & Liquor Zone for premium Japanese gins, whiskies and shochu. When you find a favourite, many exhibitors sell bottles on site at special festival prices. Our craft-beer festival, Japan HopFest, runs alongside for a full celebration of Japanese drinks culture. Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast or just beginning your sake journey, come discover how classic brewing mastery meets modern innovation.
Going VIP?
VIP tickets are valid for the full day (both sessions on your chosen date) and include everything in a regular ticket, priority access to masterclasses, VIP Lounge access and 2-day access to Japan HopFest (Sat 28 & Sun 29 Nov). The VIP Lounge stays open from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM during turnover, but tasting pauses then and no food or drinks are served in the Lounge.

The festival runs in 3-hour sessions to keep the tasting experience comfortable for everyone. Your ticket grants full access to the festival halls, free-flow sampling and masterclasses (sign up on site, subject to availability) within your selected session.

- Sake Matsuri registration desks at Marina Bay Sands (look for the Sake Matsuri welcome banners). The exact check-in location within the venue will be confirmed closer to the event.

- Early Bird and Regular tickets are valid only for the date and 3-hour session shown on the ticket. Late arrivals are admitted, but the session end time does not change. To stay longer, buy a ticket for another session (subject to availability) or choose a VIP ticket.

What is included in my ticket?

What do VIP tickets include?
VIP tickets are valid for the full day and provide access to both sessions on your chosen date. VIP tickets include everything in a regular ticket, priority access to masterclasses, and access to the VIP Lounge, a dedicated rest and seating area. VIP guests can also use the Lounge between 2pm and 4pm during session turnover. Sake tasting will pause during this period as all tasting booths will be closed, and food and beverages are not provided in the VIP Lounge. VIP tickets also include 2 day access to Japan HopFest on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November.
How do I register for masterclasses?
Masterclass seats are limited. To register, sign up in person at the Masterclass Lounge, which will be signposted at the venue. VIP ticket holders receive priority access. Registration for each masterclass closes shortly before it begins, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot.
Will there be food?
Yes, a variety of dishes will be available at the festival food hall. Food is available for an additional charge. Opening hours and the exact location will be signposted at the venue and shared closer to the event.
Do I need a ticket for my child?
Children and teenagers under 18 can enter free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. They do not need a ticket, but they will not receive a wristband or tasting glass. A valid ID may be requested for alcohol service.

Sake Matsuri was awesome. So much sake, Sochu and spirits to taste! Really enjoyed chatting with the sommeliers, importers and sake geeks. You even get to buy these beverages at a discount! Loved the food selection as well. Great vibes! Will come every year if my liver allows.

Best edition yet! Went for a sold out slot and the crowd situation was good, so many sake to taste, staff were super friendly. Loved the option for upgrading from wine glasses to sake cups, and the huge sitting area was awesome too compared to previous editions! Looking forward to the next one!
