How long can I stay in the park for?
All ticket holders have access to the park from entry time till 1.00am on 1st January 2025. Please note that there is no re-entry possible if you leave the park.
What can I do in the park while I wait for the fireworks?
The park has 8 different themed worlds where you can explore and take as many photos with family and friends to commemorate 2024. There are amusement rides, inflatable playgrounds and carnival games in the park that children and adults can enjoy. You can also buy food and beverages, find a spot and have a picnic under the stars with your family and friends. Come to the New Year Resolutions Corner to pen down your new year wishes. Please refer to the map for more information on what activities are available.
Will I definitely be able to see the fireworks in full view?
The park is right next to the Marina Bay waterfront and from most spots, you will get a great view of the skyline without having to squeeze with the rest of the public. However, there are also trees and other structures so we cannot guarantee an absolutely unobstructed view for everyone. Please note that there is no exit to the waterfront for NYE due to crowd control measures and there is no re-entry if you choose to leave the park early.
What time do I need to arrive?
Please arrive according to the timeslot that you booked your ticket for. This allows us to ensure a smooth and pleasant admission process for everyone. Please note that last admission to the park is at 8.30pm. As the Marina Bay Waterfront may be locked down for crowd control measures, you may not be able to enter the illumi park beyond 8.30pm. We will not offer any refunds for customers who bought tickets
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Tickets are only sold in advance, there are currently no plans to sell tickets at the door. The box office and information counter will not be operational on NYE.
How should I get to illumi?
We strongly encourage everyone to take public transport to the event. The nearest MRT is Bayfront Station and a short walk away from Downtown Station and Marina Bay Station. You can also take Bus services 106, 133 and 97.

illumi is a magical, dazzling and extraordinary nocturnal adventure where inventive and surprising concepts are transposed into thousands of larger-than-life light structures that take shape with 20 million LED bulbs. Cavalia presents a new illumi where most of the universes and light structures are original, never-before-seen creations. illumi offers an epic and imaginary adventure for kids and adults alike as they journey through 7 different mesmerizing worlds. The illumi site is located at the Bayfront Event Space, 12A Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018970. We are right next to the Marina Bay Sands, Sands’ Expo and Convention Centre.
What are illumi’s opening hours?
illumi is an evening event, with the magic starting at nightfall. The site is open at approximately 6.45pm daily and the event opening hours start from 7pm. Times are also subject to change based on dates, visitor traffic and special occasions.
How much time does it take to complete the experience?
It takes approximately between 60 up to a maximum of 90 minutes to take in all of illumi’s worlds. These timeframes are estimates and subject to attendance.
Do the scenes change during the event?
illumi adapts to holidays and adds a thematic touch to its experience according to the seasons. Thus, the themes of Halloween, Christmas & Chinese New Year, to name a few, will be in the spotlight for a few weeks throughout the Singapore edition.
Will illumi be closed if there is inclement weather?
The illumi site will remain open in all weather conditions. For safety reasons, we may have to cancel certain activities in extreme rainstorm conditions. Should such an event occur, announcements will be posted on social media and on illumi’s website. Unless we announce otherwise, we will welcome you in any kind of weather.
What is TICKET insurance?

During your visit, you can grab some drinks and snacks at the Food & Beverage areas in the illumi Plaza, and other selected locations. For more details, visit the “illumi Plaza.” page by clicking here. Please note that no outside food may be brought onto the illumi site.
Is there parking available nearby?
The nearest parking facilities include Marina Bay Sands (Basement Carpark, Entrance at Bayfront Link) and the Public Carpark near Red Dot Design Museum (Open Air Carpark, Entrance at Bayfront Avenue).

Can I get to illumi using public transport?
Yes! The site is easily accessible by public transportation, we are within walking distance from the Bayfront MRT station (CE1/DT16). The station connects to the Circle and Downtown Line of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train system. You can also take Buses No. 97, 106, 133, 502, 518 to Marina Bay Sands MICE (outside Sands Expo & Convention Centre, opposite Hotel Tower 1). You can also use the nearby taxi stands/drop off points at Bayfront MRT Station or the MBS Expo and Convention Centre.
If I show up late, can I still enter the illumi site?
It is very important that you organize your travel to arrive at the illumi entrance gate at the time indicated on your ticket. If you arrive late, we unfortunately will not be able to guarantee your entrance because we have a capacity limit for each time slot to ensure a magical experience for all.
Is smoking allowed at illumi?
illumi is a non-smoking venue. Smoking and vaping are prohibited during your visit.
Are pets allowed on the illumi site?
Properly identified service dogs are authorized at all times. Pet-friendly Sundays will take place every second Sunday of the month.
How can I get back an item lost at illumi?

Can I pick up my purchased tickets at the entrance of illumi?
There is no pick up option for your purchased tickets at the entrance of illumi. You will receive your e-tickets with their unique QR code from your mobile device via email upon booking confirmation and you can present it at the entrance to the illumi site. Can I turn around and go back along the route?
It is not allowed to go in the opposite direction of the traffic, the experience route is in one direction. You can wander at your leisure among the light structures in the same world before moving on to the next. Should you need to cut your visit short, there are clearly identified paths to take that will allow you to leave.
Are there emergency exits on the illumi site?
Emergency exits will be clearly indicated. If you need to use an emergency exit, please notify an illumi team member beforehand.
What happens if there is a severe thunderstorm and lightning when I am in the venue?
In the event of lightning, the lightning warning system will be activated and you will be directed to leave the illumi site in a safe manner and take cover at the nearest building. In such circumstances, you can come back to the event on the same day or a different day, except for eve of public holidays and public holidays.
What does the VIP ticket include?
The VIP Ticket includes a VIP Souvenir Lanyard, a Collectible merchandise, a free non-alcoholic drink, one complimentary ride to the carousel, flying chair and pirate ship each, and a one-time free Ticket insurance reschedule. The VIP is a fixed price for persons of all ages.

There will be limited seating available around the park. Please feel free to bring picnic mats or camping chairs/stools to make yourselves comfortable as you wait for the fireworks.
Bring your rain gear (ponchos and umbrellas) in case of wet weather. In the event of rain, the event will go on.
There is no outside food and drinks allowed at illumi. The park has F&B available from sale including champagne to celebrate 2025. There will be snacks and festive food menu, find out more about what is available on sale.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged so that you can capture all the magical moments in pictures or videos.
This is a smoke free park so we ask that you leave your cigarettes at home for one night.

Nice light exhibition, located right next to Marina Bay Sands, was an amazing experience. From booking through Pelago to entering the venue, everything was seamless. There are various themed sections that are perfect for families with kids to explore. Plus, there are plenty of Instagram-worthy spots featuring vibrant, colourful lights.
