You have 1.5 hours here to hike along this popular section of the wall, on the way back to Beijing, make a stop at a tea house for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Then return to the city for hotel drop-off to end your tour.

Begin with pickup from your central located Beijing's hotel within 2nd ring road of Beijing around 7:00am in the moring, then hop inside a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan for your 2- to 2.5-hour journey northward to Jinshanling. Along the way, hear all about this part of China’s UNESCO-listed wall, one of the most beautiful and least-crowded sections.Its restored watchtowers and the stark mountains ensure wonderful views in both directions, making it a favorite with hikers and photographers. On arrival, ride the cable car (additional cost) to the ramparts and enjoy an approximately 3-hour hike along the eastern battlements. View the historical inscriptions on each of the unique towers and see the brick engravings, carved by long-ago laborers. Following your roughly 3.7-mile (6-kilometer) hike, descend and continue to a local restaurant for a Chinese lunch. Then, return to dong zhi men subway station in downtown area and you need to go back hotel by yourself by taking subway. Please note: Client's hotel must be located within 2nd ring road of Beijing downtown area, otherwise group guide and bus are not able to pick up you clients if hotel is too far from downtown area.
