The tour will start with comfortable car/van pick-up at your hotel in Buenos Aires, at 10am. After a 45-minute drive you will arrive at La Guapeada Polo club in Pilar, province of Buenos Aires. The polo professionals & staff will welcome you by the polo practice field with traditional breakfast and introduction to Polo visiting the facilities and stables. At lunch time, we'll move to the beautiful lunch area facing the main polo field and will enjoy a delicious rural lunch including Argentine “asado” (BBQ) and empanadas, wine & other specialties and drinks (vegetarian options available). After lunch, enjoy some free time by the swimming pool and green areas of the farm. The Polo Match will then start around 3.30pm and you can participate by kicking off the game, keeping scoring points, and announcing breaks. Refreshments & wrap-up will follow, and around 6pm you will be driven back to your hotels in the city. This unique tour will allow you to experience the daily life of professional Polo players, learning everything about this traditional sport in Argentina, its origins, rules, horses care and training, while enjoying a day immersed in nature and delicious traditional food.
