[Requirements]
- Vehicles with 9 seats or fewer: IDP Level B & 21 years or older & 1+ year
of driving experience
- Vehicles with 11 seats or more: IDP Level D & 26 years or older & 3+ years
of driving experience
[Required Documents]
- International Driving Permit (IDP): A valid IDP issued within the last year
is required, and it must be issued by a country registered under the
Geneva/Vienna Convention. Only paper IDPs are accepted; plastic licenses or
local licenses are not valid.
- Local Driving License: A local driver's license is also required to verify
driving experience.
- Passport: Must match the English name on the IDP.
- Credit Card: Must be in the same name as the passport (Supported cards:
Visa / Master)
Additional information
- Drivers can add up to 3 people (including those with reservations) at no additional charge when picking up the vehicle.
- All SK Rent-a-Car vehicles are non-smoking vehicles, and smoking inside the vehicle will result in a fine.
- When bringing a pet, you must use a pet carrier and an additional cleaning fee may be charged.
- In case of an accident while driving, please call SK Rent-a-Car Customer Center (+82 1599-9111).
If you are renting a car in an inland area other than Jeju, you may be asked to sign a credit card payment agreement (to avoid potential late fees).

- In case of cancellation, change, or no-show, the following penalties will be applied.
- 72 hours prior to departure: Full refund
- If you cancel within 72 hours of the rental period, a penalty of 20% of the vehicle rental fee will be charged.
- If you cancel after the rental period (no-show), a penalty of 30% of the vehicle rental fee will be charged.
