I was unfamiliar with the layout of Lombok airport and I went to the wrong exit! Used Whatsapp (free wifi in airport) to contact car company (Alana Tour) and was immediately given clear instructions and photo to get to the correct exit where many private and grab drivers were waiting (near Maxbites and a fastfood restaurant). Easily spotted driver who was waiting with a signage thereafter. Driver was polite and ride was safe and comfortable. Very satisfied with the customer service via Whatsapp and the car transfer.
The driver was punctual but it took us a while to find him - a banner with our names would have been helpful. Other than this minor issue, the service was excellent - the driver was careful, friendly and shared useful information about the local area/customs.
