Our trip crosses right through the Etna Regional Park to reach 2000m altitude on the highest active volcano in Europe, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
Our tour leader will explain all the natural features and history of Etna.
The journey includes visits in safe conditions to panoramic craters, no longer active and a cave if good visibility and wearing solid hiking shoes.
You will have the opportunity to take pictures of the stunning moonscapes and enjoy a tasting of local produce, such as honey, wine, olive oil and more, at a farm shop.
On request at booking it is possible to combine a trip to Taormina or a visit to a winery with a light lunch.
We won't be taking you on a crowded bus or van - the maximum number is 6 people in the same vehicle.
In order to provide a high quality service, we need to receive reservations not later than 4 days before the tour.
Bookings arriving later cant be accepted.
