Their unique style of architecture can be admired in regional buildings and monuments. The grand Tughlaqabad Fort was built in the early 14th century. The highest viewing platform of the fort is a citadel called Bijay Mandal. The Tughlaqabad Fort houses the tomb of Ghiyas-ud-Din Tughlaq, a structure that claims to be the first to use the combination of sandstone and marble.
