A major highlight is your all-inclusive stay in the Northern Serengeti, where you’ll spend two nights close to the Mara River. This gives you more time to relax between game drives and stay close to the migration action.

Known for its magnificent baobab trees, large elephant herds and diverse wildlife, Tarangire is an excellent introduction to Tanzania's northern safari circuit. Enjoy a game drive through the park with time to look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife. After lunch and further game viewing, continue towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. You may also encounter crocodiles in the river and resident predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards. The migration does not follow a timetable, so the day is intentionally flexible. The best-known Mara River crossing season is generally July to September, although the exact timing varies from year to year. The Northern Serengeti also offers excellent resident wildlife outside the crossing itself
