Awesome experience as John is very passionate about bees and is able to share many interesting experience and facts about them. It was also really fun to wear the protective gear and to be able to hold so many bees close to you. My kids really loved the experience!
Tremendous fun! In our group was 3-tiered generation of a grandmother, 2 adults and an energetic 6 year old. Despite the age differences in the group, we were all engaged and entertained, and all had something new to learn from the dedicated and intelligent Uncle John Chong. He shares his knowledge with passion and joy, and made it all a very delightful experience!
It was a very enticing session with knowledge on bees, honey and some motivational talk 😊 we experienced close contact with Asian Honey Bee and taken lots of awesome photos ! Highly recommended! And it’s safe 😊
John's passion as a beekeeper is inspiring! From sharing his remarkable life story, to teaching us the A-Z of beekeeping and how crucial bees are to sustaining our ecosystem, the bee farm visit was an enjoyable eye-opener. My 4 year old son was well engaged throughout, with creative lessons and activities regarding bees and honey, and now has a deeper appreciation of the honey he eats. Great opportunity at the end to sample a wide range of quality honey and buy some for gifts. I highly recommend this experience for families with young kids!
It was a lovely outing.. must go with your kids. Such a fun and interactive session.
Was very educational and fresh experience as it's hardly heard of bee farm in SG.
Firstly, the activities is suitable to family with young children. Secondly, organiser are friendly and will send direction to the location. Thirdly, Activities can have greater focus on the importance of bees to the eco system or bee general knowledge rather than the vision of the organisation (after all the purpose of the paid workshop is on bees and not on organisation mission/vision). Lastly, organiser should be flexible enough to change the programs to suit differ age groups. For example, audiences that are older, content can be more knowledge based while audiences that have younger kids, games can be incorporated. Overall, I expected the activity to have been more educational.
