Ibaraki Flower Park
Ibaraki Flower Park has been beloved since its opening in 1985. The park is
themed around the rose, the prefectural flower of Ibaraki Prefecture, and
features approximately 900 varieties of roses in diverse forms. Whether it's
the "Rose Terrace" with its changing scenery throughout the seasons, the
colorful "Colored Roses," the "Rose Tunnel" enveloped in a sea of flowers,
or the "Scented Roses" area where you can compare the delicate fragrances of
different varieties, you can relax and unwind amidst the floral aromas.
Besides flower viewing, the park also offers a variety of flower-themed
experiences and workshops (most of which are paid), such as seasonal picking
experiences, fragrance making, and gardening tours; there are also exciting
activities such as Sport Slide and Sky Cycle (paid activities with age
restrictions, please refer to the park's announcements), suitable for families
or friends to spend a whole day together.
