There lies the San Pedro Peninsula and Puerto Bueno, where you can enjoy a scenic viewpoint. After exploring the peninsula, the tour continues to Villa Llao Llao at kilometer 23. There, you’ll find an exceptional viewpoint and several major attractions in the area: the iconic Llao Llao Hotel, set in a stunning natural landscape; the Llao Llao Municipal Park, where you can take peaceful walks through the forest; and San Eduardo Chapel, whose architecture blends beautifully with the surrounding nature. Very close by is Puerto Pañuelo, the departure point for lake excursions to Victoria Island, the Arrayanes Forest, and Puerto Blest.
  • Lago Moreno

Continuing along Circuito Chico, at kilometer 40 you’ll reach another panoramic viewpoint, located at 945 meters above sea level, offering an excellent view of Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula.
  • Colonia Suiza

    Admission Ticket Free
Continuing along the shore of Lake Moreno, around kilometer 42, you'll come across the bridge that connects its eastern and western shores. From there, you can take a left turn to visit Colonia Suiza, where you can explore local farms and campgrounds, and enjoy a delicious tea.
Day 2: Victoria Island and Bosque de Arrayanes tour
  • Los Arrayanes National Park

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
The trail begins at the entrance of Los Arrayanes National Park, just a few meters from the Bahía Brava dock. The path stretches for 12 km, winding through a forest of coihues, ñires, radales, cypresses, and notros. In the first 800 meters, there is a steep incline that requires more physical effort, but after that, the trail becomes more comfortable, continuing through a forested path. If you choose to reach the Arrayanes Forest on foot or by bike, you’ll follow a trail surrounded by trees. About an hour into the walk, you’ll cross a small stream flowing from Laguna Hua-Huan. This area is home to a native tree with a scent similar to laurel, which can only be discovered with a guide, as it's easy to get confused by the various return paths leading back to the main trail.
  • Isla Victoria

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
During the trip, you will be amazed by the beautiful landscapes surrounding you. The tour includes a stop at the Quetrihué Peninsula (“place of arrayanes” in the Mapuche language), where you can admire the unique Arrayanes forest—the only one of its kind in the world. You will disembark at Puerto Anchorena to explore Victoria Island, where you can visit a conifer nursery, walk along beautiful trails, and enjoy incredible panoramic views from several viewpoints.
  • Puerto Panuelo

    Admission Ticket Free
Departing from Puerto Pañuelo, located on the impressive Llao Llao Peninsula, after about an hour of sailing you will arrive at the Quetrihué Peninsula, situated in the northeast of Lake Nahuel Huapi, where the legendary Arrayanes forest is found.
  • Sendero de los Arrayanes

    Admission Ticket Free
Throughout this entire excursion, you will be accompanied by experienced National Park guides who provide precise and essential information to make this experience even more enriching.
Day 3: San Martin de Los Andes and 7 Lakes tour
  • Nahuel Huapi National Park

    7 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
The route heads north along National Route 40, then after passing through the town of Dina Huapi in Río Negro province, it crosses the bridge over the Limay River and begins the journey through the northern sector of Nahuel Huapi National Park.
  • Lago Nahuel Huapi

    Admission Ticket Free
Following the shore of the lake of the same name, the most important in the region, you arrive at Villa La Angostura, a small and beautiful town with a charming downtown area and a wide variety of restaurants.
  • Cardenal Antonio Samore Pass

    Admission Ticket Free
Continuing along Route 40, you will come to a fork in the road: to the west (left), National Route 231 leads to the Cardenal Samoré border crossing.
  • Lago Machónico

    Admission Ticket Free
It likely derives from the Mapuche words: "Mashó" or "Masheu" meaning "Shrimps," "ni" as a first-person possessive, and "kó" meaning "water" — together forming "Mashó-ni-kó," or "Shrimp Lake." There are small crabs in almost all the lakes of southern Argentina, hiding among the stones along their shores.
  • Lago Correntoso

    Admission Ticket Free
The expedition led by Eduardo O'Connor in 1884 named it "Lago Frías" (and the Correntoso River was called "Beer River" because they had bet some cases of beer to decide whether or not a river existed there). It was Ramón Lista who, in 1894, named the Correntoso River, and the lake—which has no currents—took its name from the river. It covers an area of 25 km² and flows from south to north. The lake is long and narrow, calm, and deep.
  • Lago Espejo Grande

    Admission Ticket Free
Its name comes from its deep and still waters. It has a surface area of 44 km² and an elevation of 788 meters. Route 40 passes by the southern end of Lake Espejo, where there is a beach and a campground; and at kilometer 101, it passes by the eastern end of one of its arms, also with a campground.
  • Lago Escondido

    Admission Ticket Free
Its location, hidden within the dense forest, gives it its name. It is a small, oval-shaped lake, 850 meters long and 250 meters wide.
