- Seoraksan National Park
Seoraksan (also known as Seorak Mountain) spans across Sokcho, Goseong, Inje,
and Yangyang in Gangwon-do and is a famous natural landmark. As Korea's fifth
national park, it is covered in snow for 5-6 months of the year, earning it
the name 'Seorak' (Snowy Peak). Its main peak, Daecheongbong, stands at an
altitude of 1,708 meters. It is a favorite destination for hikers. In recent
years, it has become renowned for its autumn foliage, offering breathtaking
views of mountains and valleys, making it an unmissable spot for autumn
scenery.
