Upon arrival, your driver will assist you with ticket purchases (cost at your own expense). You’ll have free rein to explore this restored, less-crowded Great Wall section at your own pace—opt for a scenic hike, a cable car ride up, or a thrilling toboggan slide down. Once your 2–2.5 hours of exploration end, your driver will be waiting at the parking lot to take you to Red Snail Temple (a 30-minute drive away).
After your self-guided tour of this iconic North China Buddhist temple, you’ll be transferred back to your Beijing hotel.
