Pick up your bikes, helmet, and locks at Pedego Carlsbad located at 2978 Carlsbad Blvd. Suite 130. (Located in the basement of the large blue Victorian Building on the corner of Carlsbad Blvd.)  We are located below Sun Diego Retail store in the historic blue building.  You will receive training and get directions on places you can go on this self-guided tour.  You have many options. You can stop for a bite to eat, shop, or just enjoy the 3-hour ride.  You can head south where the bike path is a straight shot for approximately 6 miles and the road parallels the beach.  Then you will travel through the quaint towns of Leucadia and Encinitas where you will pass funky shops, local cafes, coffee houses and even beautiful Eucalyptus trees planted in the 1880’s.  If time allows take an enchanting stroll through the Self Realization Gardens; featuring streaming brooks, gentle waterfalls, koi ponds where the fish will greet you with warmth, rolling paths with a variety of indigenous plants and breathtaking cliffs.
