Tiger Encounter Details
- All animal encounter tickets include admission to the park and insurance coverage.
- Each encounter lasts around 10 minutes.
- Participants must be physically fit and able to squat/kneel and stand unassisted.
- Animal encounters are not suitable for individuals using wheelchairs or walking aids.
- Tigers may not remain still for posed photos—please manage expectations.

The Tiger Kingdom experience is truly extraordinary. We initially booked the small tiger encounter, but once we arrived, we decided to purchase an additional package to interact with the adorable newborn cubs, which was an amazing highlight. For those seeking a bit more excitement, there are options to engage with larger or even the biggest tigers. This experience allows you to step inside the enclosure of these well-trained and gentle tigers, where you can take photos and even pet them. You can bring your own phone for pictures or hire a photographer on-site for an extra charge. We did encounter some confusion regarding our pickup, as the tour company only notified us in the morning that they had arrived. Despite that, this is an experience you shouldn't miss when visiting Chiang Mai, and it lasts no longer than half a day.
