Tokyo Subway Ticket Expiration and Usage Instructions:
The voucher is valid for redemption within 12 months from the purchase date.
*A redeemed ticket lasts for 6 months.
*The expiration date will be printed on the ticket after passing through the gate.
*You can exit even after the valid period has ended, as long as you entered before it expired.
*If the ticket is not used within the printed validity period, it will become invalid.
*If you experience issues using the ticket at the automatic gate after redemption, please notify the station staff. They will confirm and reissue the ticket if necessary.

[About Tokyo Subway Tickets]
・To exchange for a ticket, present the “QR code” you received upon completing your reservation. Ensure you have a device capable of displaying the “QR code” or bring a printed copy.
*If you cannot display the QR code, you will be unable to use the ticket.
・Partial ticket exchanges are prohibited. Even when buying multiple tickets, only one QR code will be issued for each transaction. Scanning the QR code at Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway stations will allow for the exchange of all valid tickets bought.
・If the magnetic strip on your Tokyo Subway Ticket is damaged or weakened, it may not work at automated ticket gates. Keep it away from strong magnetic sources, such as smartphones, home appliances, and magnetic closures on wallets.

Q: I made a reservation, but was it properly reserved?
A: When your reservation is confirmed, we will send an email with instructions to your registered email address. Please check the reservation details and voucher. You can also review your reservation through the “Reservation Details” link in the email.

Q: I cannot print the voucher because I made the reservation from my smartphone. Can I exchange it just by displaying it on the screen?
A: Yes. Simply display the Tokyo City Pass on your smartphone screen and present it at the counter of each facility.

Q: How do I use it on the day of my visit?
A: A voucher with a QR code will be attached to the confirmation email sent after your reservation is completed. Please bring it with you on the day and exchange it for a boarding ticket set. For more details, please check each product page.
