- Spot Introduction -

• Midosuji (View from the bus)

Stretching from Umeda to Namba, this is Osaka's main street with a total
length of approximately 4.5 km. It is the busiest area in Osaka city. About
970 ginkgo trees are planted along the street, and in autumn, they turn a
stunning, vibrant golden color. During the Osaka Hikari-no-Kyoen 'Midosuji
Illumination' event, the trees and buildings on both sides of the road are
beautifully lit up, creating a magical atmosphere.

• Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street (Drop-off only)

A shopping street with a total length of about 2.6 km. It features
approximately 800 shops, including traditional casual diners, delicatessens,
and knife shops specializing in swordsmithing. Just walking through it allows
you to feel the essence of Osaka.

• Kawa-no-Eki Hachikenya (Drop-off only)

Once a thriving pier for express boats connecting Kyoto and Osaka during the
Edo period, it has been revived as a port where you can enjoy leisurely
cruises and serves as a place of relaxation for people.

• Osaka Castle (View from the bus)

The symbol of Osaka, built in 1583 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi on the site of the
Osaka (Ishiyama) Hongan-ji Temple as he aimed to unify the country. Its
history is tumultuous, having lost its main keep twice due to the Siege of
Osaka and lightning strikes. The current Osaka Castle main keep was rebuilt in
1931, modeled after the Toyotomi-era keep, thanks to donations from the
citizens of Osaka Prefecture.
